The Horea’s Meadow from the Belis municipality

We started going to Horea’s Meadow from Belis Municipality, Horea Locality a few days ago with a few friends to pay tribute to the life of a brave man, to remember, in the middle of the forest, a painful moment in the faith of an exceptional man.

We climbed the steep path slowly, during a drizzle, until we reached the monument built where the leader of the peasant’s uprising from 1784, Horea (Vasile Ursu Nicola) was caught.

A moment when we needed no words, just a good thought towards the people that sacrificed for a strong belief in the rights of the free man.
